Even if you're not a fan of racing on TV, you should take a minute to watch a bit of the Isle of Man TT (motorcycle racing) on the Speed Channel.

The TT website is right… You definately couldn't do this now. They started doing it nearly 100 years ago, and it's now a tradition.

6 laps (226 miles) on public roads, fastest time wins.

The TT has _the_ best on board video I've ever seen. 170mph right past people's houses, straight through downtown. You really get an appreciation for just how fucking nuts these guys are.

It's on tonight, with some more featured throughout the week. The Formula One class is the fastest, but they are all wickedly fast. Lap averages are now over 125mph.
