Aiming for a little more performance I installed new cams in my Verde this weekend. I'll spare you the gory details of how this is done, and summarize it takes a lot of pain, agony, and attention to detail. I'm all over the first two, and a little shy on the second. That explains why I got to redo a large part of the job when I forgot to correctly set the ignition timing. *sigh* I am happy to report that the job is done, and my Alfa's V6 is now really sweet. Sidenote: I weighed 192lbs Saturday night. I had a cup of coffee and 9:30am and completely forgot to eat or drink, until I resurfaced at 4pm. I weighed myself again at 185lb... I assume most of it was water loss, with only a pound or so being lost knuckle skin.
