Finally, I get to add another entry under the motorcycle blog category. We had a record high of 78F yesterday in Pittsburgh. On the way home from work it was obvious I had to get out on the bike. The only problem was getting the bike out... it was tucked away in a corner of the basement, behind two Alfa motors, a mig welder, and assorted debris. The other problem is that I was a bad owner... I did nothing to winterize it. I just parked it in November and put a cover over it. After about 30 minutes I had it outside with the mirrors reattached, the chain lubed, tire pressures checked, and fluids checked. To my delight when I touched the starter it fired up as though I last rode it yesterday. With a smile I put on all my gear and hit the road. I got about an hour or two of saddle time in and it was good.
