Clean on the inside
I'm sending the internals of my spare gearbox out to be rehab'd. New synchronizers, bearings, seals, and most importantly some gear lightening. The lighter gears are easier on the synchronizers, and results in quicker, slicker shifting.
The limited slip is going to be upgraded too... new clutch plates will result in 55% lockup.
I can't wait... with luck, and help from UPS, I'll be ready to swap transaxles early in May.
