Negotiations are complete, the plan is in motion: I'm buying another Alfa. (*surprise*) This is a fully operational 1986 Spider Veloce. It has some interesting modifications: rollbar, 5 point harnesses, shaved, ported and fully rebuilt head, and suprisingly good looking aftermarket wheels. We'll be taking the train to Chicago mid-May to pick it up, and drive it home. I can hardly wait. It will be so nice having two running cars again. And even better will be not having to fix the Spider I already have. It's going to be parted. It would have cost me twice as much as the new car to restore with the end result being worth half of that investment. I'm sentimental, but not that sentimental.
