Week in review
Sunday was our 6th wedding anniversary. The best decsion I've ever made was also one of the easiest. I think if I had any idea just how happy we were going to be together I would have been more nervous/anxious... it should have felt like winning the lottery.
I survived another cold.
Work has been interesting. For the first time in a long time, a deadline approaches and I have a fair amount of shit to do. I wouldn't call it fun, but meeting the challenge is at least a small source of satisfaction.
I bought a Sony PSP. I haven't really played any video games in almost a decade, but I knew when I saw the PSP, that I was going to buy one. Now, if I could just pry it out of my wife's little lemur-like fingers for a while, I could tell you how fun it is to play.
Another April 15th, another tax-day ass-raping. TaxAct helpfully reported that we are in the top quartile for the amount of tax we owe relative to our income... the one downside of being DINKs. If we do decide to have a child soon, I should make sure the seed is planted prior to the end of the fiscal year. If you believe those folks who claim life begins at conception, then so do the deductions.
Today is the first day of trout season. I doubt I'll find myself in a stream today for fear of having to deal with hordes of assholes that crowd the banks on opening day. But I do know of at least one stream that can be reasonably fished at lunchtime or before work when I'll likely have the stream to myself, so I will get out there soon.
