Got a low battery warning from my Pocket PC, my primary source of time killing entertainment on the train. I had almost resigned myself to mind numbing boredoom when I remembered I've been totting a spare battery all over Japan, and had not stupidly and uselessly left it in my big pack stashed in Hakata. 100% charge should easily keep me going till I'm happily checked into yet another Toyoko Inn.
